About us
Turkon Line started its 3rd DIRECT service between the main Turkish ports and North European ports including the United Kingdom, in October 2002. Three sister vessels with 1150 TEU capacity were deployed to this service. Further upgrades were made in April 2006 with the deployment of a 4th sister vessel of 1150 teus providing a weekly service. Felixstowe, Hamburg, Antwerp in North Europe , Barcelona and Genoa in west med and Istanbul, Gemlik & Izmir in Turkey were originally served and also include services from Rotterdam served via Antwerp and Mersin served via Gemlik. In 2008, this service was upgraded further with the replacement of our 1150 teu vessels with 1900 teu vessels, these vessels were phased in during a 6 month period. As of April 2008, a Valencia call was also added to this service.
Turkon Deutschland GmbH, was founded in July 2002 at Hamburg in the heart of the shipping community, to serve as Turkon Line's General Agents in Germany. A qualified team is motivated to provide the best service customers are looking for. As from October 2007 ,Turkon Line has been represented by Turkon Belgium at Antwerp , a subsidiary of Turkon Deutschland GmbH.
